Gitex 2007
08/09/2007

ICT companies based in Lebanon are invited to join the "ICT Lebanon" pavilion in Gitex 2007 - Dubai, for promoting their products and services.

DUBAI presents tremendous opportunities for the ICT sector in the Middle East and Gulf region. Its markets remain the ideal hub to access other countries with high potential, such as Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Sultanate Oman, Kuwait, Iran and Iraq.

Over the past years, the success and reputation of "ICT Lebanon" pavilion at GITEX have positively reflected on many Lebanese software companies, now highly recognized as prime solution providers by most countries in the region.

The Lebanese pavilion will consist of 9 square meters stands.

The pavilion will be most probably, partially subsidized by donors.

Due to the very high demand, places are limited; space will be allocated by a priority of first coming.

Do not underestimate the capabilities of your enterprises for stepping into the foreign markets. Be there to catch tremendous opportunities available in the Gulf!

The event is only two months away, so hurry up for the big excitement!

Now in its 27th year, GITEX ranks as the third largest ICT exhibition in the world. This mega event has established itself as the most important exhibition for computing and communication systems and applications dedicated not only to the ICT industry, but to the entire business environment.

The continued success of Gitex has stimulated increased levels of enthusiasm and excitement about Dubai's role as the Middle East's hub for trade, growth and development in the ICT sector.

GITEX is among the world's top 3 ICT Exhibitions and is located in the business hub of the Middle East. A recent IDC report estimated that IT spend in the region will exceed $45bn by 2010 compared to $30bn in 2006, making it the perfect platform for companies looking to take advantage of the phenomenal growth taking place in the IT industry in the region.

GITEX continually highlights the latest technology & services from international manufacturers and suppliers welcoming over 3,269 companies from 79 countries by far surpassing previous figures by 30%. This record-breaking event covered over 63,751 sqm, 23% more than GITEX 2006.

GITEX 2007 looks set to surpass these figures as the ICT Market strengthens and ICT spending in the Middle East & North Africa region is predicted to continue to rise.
